Elias Vinicius Teixeira is a Brazilian futsal player who began his career in his native country in 1997, playing for Atletico Mineiro, Carlos Barbosa and Ulbra. In 1999, Vinicius moved to Spain to join Inter Movistar, with whom he played for one season. His golden era, however, was with El Pozo Murcia, where he played between 2004 and 2011. During those years he and his team were crowned League Champions four times, winners of the Copa de España (Spanish Cup) twice and won two Spanish Supercopas. Moreover, his excellent work as a centre forward led to him being awarded the title of Best Player in the National Futsal League (LNFS) in two consecutive seasons. Since 2012 he has been with the Russian First Division team, Dynamo Moscow, with whom he continues to build his resume and aims to become league champion this season.
